Thanks for your reply, Have you ever hear of The Barber Small Bore event?
It's at Barber Motorsports park in Alabama
This weekend
Thank you that does sound like a great event, I hope to make some easy options Nationwide
I had mentioned that one of the biggest motorcycle events in America is Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid Ohio Raceway in Lexington, Ohio. This year it is July 9-12. There are a couple hundred motocross racers of every age racing in relatively inexpensive vintage and post vintage bikes. The track is partly grass with a few small jumps. Every age group is represented from very young to 80 year olds. Tens of thousands of people will be there. There are Hare Scrambles, Trials, road racing, flat track and pit bike racing. Most of the manufacturers are there too. It is all sponsored by the AMA. This is where you could really catch a wave for what you are trying to accomplish to bring back motocross for the masses. Check it out. WWW.vintagemotorcycledays.com
My son and I race there every year on old 1974 Honda CR250M's. There is a 100cc class that adults can race in. It reminds me of the 1970's when I would ride my 1973 Honda SL125 to school all week and then strip the lights off and motocross race on the weekends. I didn't have any money then but I made it work somehow.
I also bought a small air cooled Honda CRF125 to race in the small classes and have a ton of fun doing it. Keep promoting what you are doing because it is something many people want to do, they just don't know how.
